VeeShare finished among the top three startups in the 2026 EIT Urban Mobility Start-Up Creation Program, concluding a competitive venture development process focused on customer validation, go-to-market planning and pilot readiness.

The result reflects the progress made during the program as VeeShare refined the commercial and operational foundations behind Veevex's private AC charger sharing network.

Throughout the program, the team worked on customer discovery, market prioritisation, pilot structure, financial planning and the execution milestones required to move from product development toward controlled real-world deployment.

A strong result in a competitive cohort

Building Global Innovators confirmed that competition in this year's cohort was particularly strong and that VeeShare finished as the third-best startup. BGI also highlighted the team's overall progress and the quality of its approach during the mentoring process.

For Veevex, the top-three result is an important validation point. It follows months of work to test whether underused private AC chargers can become a practical local charging layer when owners retain control over access, availability, pricing and session rules.

What the program strengthened

  • Customer discovery and clearer segmentation of charger owners and EV drivers.
  • Go-to-market planning around controlled pilots and partner-led deployment.
  • Financial modelling, milestone planning and capital requirements for early market entry.
  • Pilot-readiness work across charger compatibility, owner controls, bookings and session records.

Next step: broader ecosystem visibility

BGI has also confirmed that it intends to keep VeeShare in view for relevant future initiatives and opportunities. Final program documentation is expected to support VeeShare's inclusion in the EIT Urban Mobility network and increase visibility among urban mobility investors and stakeholders.

Milestone

The top-three finish adds a new external validation point to VeeShare's development journey while the team continues preparing controlled pilots and market-entry partnerships.

Veevex will carry the program work forward into pilot execution, with the immediate focus remaining on reliable charger integration, owner trust, driver demand and measurable real-world usage.
